What StormCon 2026 Costs, and What Your Organization Gets

A Full Conference registration is $710 at the early bird rate, before pricing increases on July 27. For that single investment, one team member gains three days of technical education, the Wednesday keynote, full access to the exhibit hall, all receptions and breaks, breakfast and lunch, and up to 12.5 Professional Development Hours.

That is a full year of applied stormwater learning, vendor evaluation, and peer benchmarking in one trip to Minneapolis

Registration Type Early Bird What it Includes:

$710

All sessions, Wednesday keynote, exhibit hall, receptions and breaks, breakfast and lunch, up to 12.5 Professional Development Hours.

Group Plan (10 or More)

Earn Up to 12.5 Professional Development Hours

StormCon 2026 is built around technical, applied education. A verified Full Conference attendee can earn up to 12.5 Professional Development Hours across the program, before any field trip participation. One-Day attendees can earn up to 6.5 Professional Development Hours on Wednesday and up to 6 on Thursday. Certificates are issued to verified delegates after the event.

For many stormwater and engineering roles, these hours count toward annual licensing and certification requirements. That makes attendance a direct investment in keeping your team current, compliant, and credentialed.

Bring the Team and Lower the Cost per Person

If more than one person on your team would benefit, registering as a group reduces the rate for everyone.

During the Early Bird sale, groups of 3 to 9 register at roughly $150 less per person than the individual Full Conference early bird rate, and groups of 10 or more save about $215 per person.

Sending several team members lets you divide the program across tracks, cover more sessions, and bring back broader insight, often for less per person than a single individual registration.

How StormCon 2026 Will Benefit Your Organization

Attending StormCon can help your team:

1. Strengthen compliance readiness

Stormwater compliance mistakes can create risk, rework, delays, and reputational issues. Sessions on compliance, inspections, documentation, and best management practice (BMP) performance give your team practical methods to strengthen internal processes.

2. Learn from peer case studies and technical experts

Learning from peers, case studies, and technical experts can help avoid costly mistakes and accelerate better decision-making.

3. Support professional development

Stormwater responsibilities are increasingly technical and cross-functional. StormCon provides focused education that is directly relevant to day-to-day work.

4. Improve stormwater project outcomes

The event can help attendees evaluate approaches to green infrastructure, erosion control, flood mitigation, and stormwater system performance.

5. Compare vendors, tools, and technologies

The exhibit hall puts stormwater technologies and vendors in one place, so your team can compare solutions and shortlist what fits.

6. Bring back insights for colleagues who cannot attend

One attendee can return with session notes, vendor contacts, presentation takeaways, and recommendations that benefit colleagues who could not attend.

Subject: Requesting approval to attend StormCon 2026

Hi [Manager Name],

I would like to request approval to attend StormCon 2026, taking place August 25 to 27, 2026, at the Minneapolis Convention Center. StormCon is the national event for stormwater management, bringing together stormwater managers, erosion control specialists, engineers, public works professionals, consultants, and solution providers for technical education, networking, and practical problem-solving.

The agenda maps directly to our work, with sessions on [add the topics most relevant to us, for example stormwater compliance and MS4 programs, flood mitigation, green infrastructure, best management practice performance, erosion control, construction stormwater, transportation, or industrial stormwater management].

Why it is worth the investment:

  • Up to 12.5 Professional Development Hours, which count toward my annual licensing and certification requirements.
  • Practical methods I can apply directly to [current project, program, or compliance priority].
  • Lessons from peer organizations solving the same problems, plus an exhibit hall to evaluate [tools or technologies we are considering].
  • A post-event summary for the team with key takeaways, vendor contacts, and recommended next steps.

Estimated cost: registration is $710 at the early bird rate, plus travel and lodging. Registering before July 27, 2026 secures the lowest rate. If others on our team would benefit, group registration lowers the cost per person.

To make sure the investment pays back, I will build a focused agenda before the event and share that summary with the team afterward.

Thank you for considering this request. I am happy to pull together more detail on specific sessions or the format.

Best,
