Lanie Carl is a project engineer at KC Water on the Smart Sewer Program team. Her experience working at regulatory agencies and in consulting led her to discover a passion for public service work. With the City of Kansas City, she has been able to work on sewer separation and green infrastructure projects that directly impact the communities she works and lives in. She has a MS in Civil Engineering from California Polytechnic State University – SLO and has worked in the water infrastructure industry for the past 5 years.
