Kevin Strauss joined the MPCA in 2023 as a Municipal Stormwater Inspector. He helps keep Minnesota rivers and lakes clean and healthy by auditing local stormwater programs to make sure they are complying with permit requirements to keep stormwater clean. This work involves reviewing documents, responding to complaints, and taking enforcement action when non-compliance is discovered. He is the chief editor of the (Minnesota) Stormwater News newsletter and presents MS4 workshops across Minnesota.
