This session will provide an overview of the legal and policy landscape in the stormwater sector at the national level. Legal issues will include the Maui case as well as recent and upcoming SCOTUS rulings and cases. Policy issues of focus will include emerging contaminants, Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) assistance for stormwater programs, the WOTUS rulemaking, EPA’s MS4/Census rulemaking, and the recent Clean Watersheds Needs Survey.
