John Beachy graduated in 2002 from Texas State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Resource and Environmental Studies. In 2004 Mr. Beachy joined the City of Austin and is currently Project Manager with the Field Operations Division of the Watershed Protection Department. In this role he has worked with all aspects of maintenance and construction of Austin’s storm water conveyance system. For the past 5 years, he has been focused on the operations and maintenance program for the Waller creek Tunnel. This includes managing capital maintenance projects, facility improvements and coordinating Tunnel operational efforts amongst the dynamic redevelopment of the Waller Creek District within downtown Austin.
