Mr. Gray is a water resources professional with experience in the academic and consulting sectors. He specializes in stormwater treatability testing, treatment system design, and real-time monitoring to achieve permit compliance; stormwater green infrastructure design, monitoring, and applied research; and groundwater flow and pollutant fate and transport resulting from stormwater infiltration. As a research faculty member at Oregon State University Mr. Gray developed innovative stormwater treatment devices and filter media using biochar and other natural materials to remove heavy metal and other pollutants from stormwater runoff. As part of this work, Mr. Gray helped to design and construct 20 modular stormwater treatment devices that have been effectively removing heavy metals from runoff since 2015. Mr. Gray has authored peer-reviewed and trade journal publications and has presented his findings at trade conferences throughout his career.
