He has assembled a depth of experience in project leadership from early conceptual studies through implementation. He has led a variety of complete street projects in the Denver area, including the Brighton Boulevard Redevelopment, Federal Boulevard Greenway, and the 16th Street Mall Redevelopment. Currently, Michael is leading 21st Festival Street Redevelopment – 1 mile streetscape conversion into a linear urban park with high comfort bike trail and planted stormwater facilities. It will also be first segment of Denver’s 5280 Trail and a completely new streetscape typology for the City.

The recently completed Brighton Boulevard, added 3 miles of raised bike facility, 450 trees, and 30,000sq.ft. of water quality treatment, becoming the first project in Denver to implement the City’s new Ultra-Urban water quality standards. Michael is an active member of his community, serving as the Vice Chair of the Arvada Planning Commission and Land Development Code Board member.
