Alisa Diaz Richardson, PE is an engineer, a professional project manager and has a Masters degree in water quality modeling. She was a hydrologist for the US Geological Survey, started in the NPDES program for wastewater permitting, ran the 401 Water Quality Division in RI, the Stormwater Engineering permitting section at RIDEM, and is the current Director for the RI-DOT Environmental Division. She has expertise in hydrology, stormwater, water quality, flooding and drought management. She has contributed to many works such as, the streamflow depletion method, Water 2030, Hydropower Feasibility, the RIDOT Stormwater Linear Manual, and the Scituate Reservoir flooding analysis. Her favorite work to date is what she will be talking about today.
