Ramesh Swaminathan, PE is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas and is currently the Managing Engineer with the City of Austin's Watershed Protection Department responsible for the Operations, Maintenance and Engineering Support for the Waller Creek Stormwater Tunnel Program in Downtown Austin. Ramesh got his Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the Manipal Institute of Technology, India before he came to the United States. He did his graduate research at Brown University and at the University of Rhode Island, RI from where he received his Master's degree in 1994. He currently manages storm water operations for key areas in Downtown Austin including the Waller Creek Tunnel, Lady Bird Lake and surrounding areas.
