In partnership with The Gateway to Milwaukee, participants will visit local stormwater projects and sites during this half-day guided bus tour. Lunch is provided.

Tour Itinerary: Monday, Sept. 13, 2021

11:00 am             START: The Wisconsin Center

                             Board Bus/Travel time

11:15 am              Stop 1: Offices on 6th street for welcome/background/tour (20 minutes) 

                             Travel: walk to farmers market (2 minutes) 

11:45 am             Stop 2: Tour of farmers market area (30-45 minutes)

12:30 pm            Board Bus/Travel time

12:45 pm            Stop 3: 20th street location for tour and picnic lunch (75 minutes)

2:00 pm             Board Bus/on board tour through district, point out bioswales, pass large scale renaturalization

                             along Kinnickinnic River, total redo of city park that incorporates green infrastructure (30 minutes)

2:30 pm              Stop 4: Lakeshore State Park area: tour of GSI (30 minutes)

3:00 pm              Board bus; return to Wisconsin Center 

3:15 pm               END: The Wisconsin Center
