Sarah Matin is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and currently serves as the Region 5 Director and sits on the Society Board of Direction. She is a contributing author to the ASCE Florida Section Infrastructure Report Card and serves as an Infrastructure Advocacy Captain for Florida. Additionally, Mrs. Matin has represented ASCE for major print and on-air interviews for a variety of infrastructure related topics. Mrs. Matin also serves as a Committee Advisor to the Finance and Facilities Committee for the UCF Foundation. Sarah is a registered professional engineer in the state of Florida and received her Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Central Florida. She has over 20 years of experience in roadway design, utility and stormwater management for large scale design build and design-bid-build projects throughout the State, in addition to wide ranging experience in material specifications. Mrs. Matin is the water quality manager for the Southeast at Advanced Drainage Systems, Inc. where she leads water quality efforts in the Florida, Southeast, and Atlantic Coast regions. Sarah is a lifelong Floridian and resides in Winter Garden, Florida with her husband, Matt and their 9-year-old, soccer loving son, Andrew. Sarah, Matt and Andrew enjoy traveling, playing golf together and watching their favorite sports teams!
