Jane Dewell led set up of the Port of Seattle’s stormwater utility in 2016, separating from Seattle and becoming the first port with a stormwater utility. She manages the Port’s stormwater regulatory and asset management programs involving environmental staff who ensure municipal and industrial stormwater permit compliance, and maintenance team that innovates stormwater treatment and maintains waterfront assets. Jane has worked in government and consulting on environmental protection in Hawaii, Washington state, and West Africa.
