Description
Public education is a cornerstone of any MS4 program, and teachers offer an efficient channel for reaching students and their families with stormwater pollution prevention messages. But competing demands make teachers a difficult audience to engage. Three partners in the Twin Cities, including a licensed high school science teacher, are addressing that challenge by building a community of STEM teachers and professionals around stormwater education goals. This presentation details their collaborative approach and offers lessons for MS4 programs looking to deepen their reach through formal education networks
